Prescription Drug Front-End System (PDFS) and Reports Computer-Based Training
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) are pleased to announce a new computer-based training (CBT) to guide Medicare Part D Plan Sponsors through the systems that process prescription drug event (PDE) data submitted to CMS. This training will walk through the PDE submission process, the systems impacted, and the reports plans receive because of their submissions. Specifically, it provides information on Accessing Reports, the Prescription Drug Front-End System (PDFS) submission process, the Drug Data Processing System (DDPS) process, and the series of reports that are generated to assist with PDE processing, plan-to-plan situations, and reconciliations.
